| Course Description | This course is delivered one day per week with face to face one week and placement then following week. Placement will be organised for the students in a child care centre, working with a range of children of all ages. |
| Pathways | This program prepares participants for employment in Children's Services sector. The Certificate III is the minimum entry level to work in the Children's Services. Graduates will be competent in a range of essential skills. |
| Entry Requirements | Students require a DCSI child related employment screening in order to complete work placement. Schools will invoice students for the cost of this. |
| Other Requirements | Students should have achieved at least a C standard in Year 10 English. Students are required to complete practical placement in a day care centre. |
